Treatment Feedback

In this post I will be write about what feedback my group has gotten and why this is.

- As a group we have discussed further into our treatment and improved our idea for the opening sequence. We knew that the idea was usable, however, we did not think the story made total sense.

- We thought it didn't make sense because we only knew how the opening sequence would look, however, not the whole story of the film which is important to know so that the sequence turns out well made. 

- This meant that even the opening sequence wouldn't make sense to the audience. It wouldn't make sense because the three girls are tied up to get chosen by a man who is forced. 

- If the random man who is choosing knows nothing about these girls he will just choose any to save himself which will not create tension in the opening sequence and will look poorly made. 

- We thought of alternatives to make the sequence clear so we thought of changing that the chooser wasn't forced, yet paid to kill one of these girls, however, if this was done the sequence could look inappropriate in another way, as it is only the opening sequence so no other footage of the rest of the film is seen. The inappropriate things that could be thought of is that the man is paying to rape the girl instead of killing. 

- In conclusion we understood that our idea had to be slightly changed so it could look better and be more clear to the audience.
