My Music Tastes
In this post I will be demonstrating my different tastes of music and what my thoughts are on them.
My favorite genres of music are rap, R&B and electronic house. This is because they give me a positive feel and the lyrics are written from the heart about what they feel. I mostly like artists rather then bands. Some of these artists are; Beyonce, J Cole, A$AP ROCKY, etc.. I like these artists because they don't only create amazing music, however, they also set trends that I follow and admire.
Most of the music from these artists I normally listen to their music on my device. On platforms like; Spotify, Apple music, Soundcloud, etc.. What I like about these artists is that all of them started off from nothing and built themselves up to these amazing, legendary artists. I usually found out about these artist either from social media platforms or from family and friends. Some of the artists I chose for example Beyonce, I have been listening to her music since I was younger and have always listened since. I haven't seen any of these artists live as I usually didn't live in a place where live shows occured.
For me the music videos are my favorite part of a song and most of the artists have such inspirational music videos that want to send a message to the world by still making it intriguing. All of the three artists I chose all have a functional website that is aesthetically pleasing and they contain all important information we need to know about them. In conclusion, I find that each of the artists I chose have a message to bring out. For example; Beyonce is very into feminism and always tries to involve the women in our society because she believes in empowerment. This is shown in her famous song 'Run the world'.
