Editing Sequence 2
Conclusion Editing Sequence
In this post I will be writing about how the editing went overall and what other moves were done to improve the sequence.
A few days have gone past from editing the sequence and so far so good. All is going to plan and the video is looking better than I thought it would look. The biggest difficulty we have had overall I would say, is achieving the appropriate length of the sequence which is 2 minutes, as we didn't want to make the mistake of removing too much or too little footage. For the sound of the sequence we wanted the vibe to be an underground club, therefore, we needed a soundtrack that was similar to a heavy nightclub. This is when we decided that Tom should find a track that isn't copyrighted, and luckily we did and added it onto the video.
Mainly what I learnt from my mentors was that, I should always begin by editing the footage you have, and the last thing I should do is add in the different sounds and finishing touches. Another thing I learnt from editing this sequence is that next time I do, I will only use simple camera positionings to emphasize characters more than for example simpler items like; a watch, a door, a chair, etc.

In conclusion, I very much enjoyed editing this sequence because that is mainly why I chose media in the first place. I also allow myself to learn many new specific things that I could also use for myself in my own videos for the future.
